This from Elizabeth&#8217;s web site:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Irish flute player Elizabeth Petcu seeks new ways of exploring and presenting music and her debut solo album <em>Just Me<\/em> captures in essence Elizabeth&#8217;s true authentic sound through a brilliant interpretation of her favourite repertoire.<\/p>\n<p>Particularly innovative is the use of the keyless wooden <a title=\"About Irish Flutes | Martin Doyle Flutes\" href=\"\/irish-flutes.html\">Irish flute<\/a> for the Telemann pieces (tracks 3 and 4). The <a title=\"Liam Bates - Music\" href=\"http:\/\/www.liambates.com\/\">Liam Bates<\/a> composition, Moth Manoeuvres (track 12), was commissioned by <a title=\"Helen Gaynor | Facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Helen-Gaynor-376144062536687\/\">Helen Gaynor<\/a> for her art exhibition in May 2007 \u2014 a project that was part-funded by the Wexford County Council Arts Department and the Arts Council. Elizabeth premiered Moth Manoeuvres at Newtownbarry House in Bunclody, County Wexford. Just Me also includes the music of Karg-Elert, Bach, Debussy and others.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Elizabeth will be performing at the National Gallery of Ireland on a <a title=\"Martin Doyle Cocus Wood Head Joint on a Concert Flute | Martin Doyle's Photostream on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/tindoyflu\/2488993182\/\">Muramatsu concert flute<\/a> fitted with a <a title=\"Wooden Headjoints for Concert Flutes | Martin Doyle Flutes\" href=\"\/wooden-head-joints.html\">wooded head joint<\/a> made by Martin Doyle and a <a title=\"Traditional Flutes | Martin Doyle Flutes\" href=\"\/traditional-flutes.html\">traditional Irish flute<\/a> that was also made by Martin Doyle.<\/p>\n<p>The concert will begin at 3 pm in the Shaw Room, National Gallery of Ireland, Merrion Square West, Dublin.
