Irish poet, Biddy Jenkinson<\/p><\/div>\n

Martin Doyle<\/a> has a page on his website entitled In Praise of Wooden Flutes<\/a> which presents a poem of the same name by Martin\u2019s friend Biddy Jenkinson<\/a>. Biddy, an Irish poet, short story writer and dramatist who writes in the Irish language<\/a>, also sent Martin a poem that eulogises their mutual friend Nuala N\u00edc Con Iomaire<\/a> who passed away on July 16, 2010. That poem, Nuala<\/em>, is reproduced below.<\/p>\n
