The photo below captures Edel performing with resident flute players <a title=\"Garry Shannon Interview | A Guide to the Irish Flute\" href=\"http:\/\/www.irishfluteguide.info\/garry-shannon-interview\/\">Garry Shannon<\/a> (the lefty on the right) and Anthony Quigney (the righty on the left). Photo by Martin Connolly<\/p><\/div>\n<h3>A little about Edel Vaughan &#8230;<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>Edel Vaughan is a native of the County Clare who has been playing music and participating in traditional and <a title=\"Sean-n\u00f3s song | Wikipedia\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sean-n%C3%B3s_song\">sean n\u00f3s singing<\/a> from an early age. She has won six All Ireland titles and has travelled the world with the renowned <a title=\"Br\u00fa Bor\u00fa\" href=\"https:\/\/bruboru.ie\/\">Br\u00fa Bor\u00fa<\/a> group. Edel has also travelled and worked with the dance show Rag\u00fas and has had the honour of being a member of the prestigious <a title=\"Dave Flynn's Irish Memory Orchestra\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmemoryorchestra.com\/\">Clare Memory Orchestra<\/a> for a specially commissioned millennium suite commemorating the death of <a title=\"Brian Bor\u00fa | Wikipedia\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Brian_Boru\">Brian Bor\u00fa<\/a> in 1014 AD. Edel is also no stranger to the camera having performed on many television series including Abair Amhr\u00e1n, Fleadh TV and Geantra\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Currently touring with the renowned Kilfenora C\u00e9il\u00ed Band, Edel also teaches Irish and history at St. Flannans College in <a title=\"Ennis | Wikipedia\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ennis\">Ennis<\/a> and traditional singing in many <a title=\"Comhaltas \u2013 globally promoting traditional Irish music dance culture.\" href=\"https:\/\/comhaltas.ie\/\">Comhaltas<\/a> branches throughout Ireland.
