In May of this year, Martin Doyle featured on a <a title=\"BBC Radio 4\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sounds\/play\/live:bbc_radio_fourfm\">BBC Radio 4<\/a> program entitled Sounding Post which was produced by <a title=\"Nina Perry \u2013 Music, Sound and Radio\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ninaperry.co.uk\/\">Nina Perry<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Nina Perry takes a musical journey tracing the wood used in making musical instruments back to the forest, from an Irish flute maker and a Los Angeles-based guitarist to the Mpingo Conservation Project in Tanzania.&#8221; &#8211; BBC Radio 4.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><del datetime=\"2016-03-22T21:10:39+00:00\">Unfortunately Sounding Post is not currently available online<\/del> ( since early 2015, it can be heard here: <a title=\"Sounding Post - Falling Tree Productions | Soundcloud\" href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/fallingtreeproductions\/sounding-post\">Sounding Post<\/a> ). The two excerpts that have been added to Martin&#8217;s web site feature Martin talking about flute making and playing music on a &#8216;fresh off the lathe&#8217; flute.
